I am a Geomorphologist and Engineer interested in the use of new technologies to monitor, model and quantify earth surface processes and landforms, especially soil erosion. I hold a Ph.D. degree in Geography from the University of Extremadura. I am a Professor in the Department of Art and Territory Sciences at the University of Extremadura, where I teach several subjects including mapping and aerial-photo interpretation, advanced spatial analysis and raster analysis. My expertise covers the area of spatial modelling and geomatics including GIS, SfM-MVS, LIDAR, UAS-UAV, DEMs, and so on..
